Eric, a native of Tulsa and its suburbs, has been dedicated to the Emergency Department since 1997. He began his healthcare journey as a volunteer in a local emergency room and started his career as an ER registrar. Progressing through various roles, Eric became an emergency room technician and earned his Advanced Unlicensed Assistant (AUA) certification.
Transitioning to urgent care, Eric focused on his nursing education, graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2008. He initially worked as an ICU nurse before returning to his ER roots as an emergency room nurse. Over the years, Eric has taken on leadership roles within the Emergency Department and earned a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Oklahoma State University in 2018. His leadership experience extends to the Observation/Inpatient Units, Certified Stroke Programs, and opening new ERs.
In his spare time, Eric enjoys quality moments with his wife and three kids, playing music, and indulging in his passions for classic cars and sailing.
