Rusty was born and Raised in Verdigris Oklahoma, and also raised his daughter there who Graduated in 2019 from Verdigris High School. Rusty proudly served his Country in the U.S. Navy for 6 years during the Gulf War and returned Home to Verdigris after his Honorable Discharge.
Rusty then utilized His G.I. Bill to pursue his education at his beloved Oklahoma State University, obtaining a Bachelor’s In Business Management . After a successful career in Sales and Managment Rusty decided that being an RN was his calling and pursed his RN, BSN. Now having his second career, Rusty has worked as an ER/Trauma Nurse at St. Johns and OSU Medical Center for many years. Rusty has been our Chief Nursing Officer since our opening in July of 2019. With what little free time Rusty has outside of Tulsa ER & Hospital he enjoys spending time in Colorado and road trips with his daughter Rylee.
